Welcome to Mannin Cancers Support Group

Our Vision For

Mens Health

Mannin Cancers Support Group is the sibling Charity of the highly successful Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.

Formed in early 2019 to raise money to fund Diagnostic and Staging Equipment for Prostate Cancer. The equipment for the diagnosis and staging for Prostate Cancer is Transperineal Biopsy. The Charity successfully fundraised the £180,000 and that equipment is now operational at Nobles hospital saving many men from having to travel to the UK to have this procedure done.

We are currently fundraising for a MegaPulse holmium Laser. This powerful versatile medical Laser is used in Urology for treating Bladder Cancers, Stone treatments and conditions of the Prostate.

So far having successfully fundraised £1.3m together with Manx Breast Cancer Support Group to replace the Island’s ageing CT Scanners, with 2 state of the art Spectral CT Scanners. Including refurbishment of a CT Reception.
